Editorial policy
Declared position
The maintainers of this archive support Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and say so openly. The original archive, Exército do Lula, uses the word "army" for a civil and peaceful community of readers and supporters. This position does not change the rule for facts: whatever is presented as fact must be verifiable, including when the result is mixed or has limits.
Fact, analysis and opinion
Each claim is marked as fact, number, interpretation or opinion. Historical document, editorial analysis and opinion are not mixed in the same passage.
Independence
The archive is not an official website of the federal government, the Presidency, a ministry or a party, and it does not use official coats of arms or visual identity.
What the archive does not do
- It does not do political targeting, voting-intention polling, message blasts or political advertising.
- It does not generate synthetic images that look like records of real events. Photographs are licensed and credited.
- It does not attribute to Lula any quotation without a source, and it makes no superlative claim without a documented comparison.
- It does not call something "reviewed by an expert" unless it was reviewed by an identified expert.
Corrections
Corrections change the page and are recorded with a date in the public history. A published result is not silently replaced.
Use of artificial intelligence
AI tools help locate sources and extract excerpts. They produce candidates, never numbers or sources published without human checking.
Translation
The archive is maintained in Portuguese at Exército do Lula. Every text shown on this English edition has a translation tied to the original text: if the original changes, the old translation no longer matches it, and the English edition is not republished until that text is translated again. Translations are produced with the help of artificial intelligence and are identified as such. Excerpts from sources stay in their original language. If the two versions differ, the Portuguese original prevails.
